Local firefighters visited our kindergarten classes at Strayhorn Elementary to demonstrate how specialized skills and rapid problem-solving keep our community safe. By meeting these professionals, students begin to see the connection between their own learning and future careers in public service. Early exposure to diverse career paths helps our youngest learners envision their own roles as vital members of the workforce. We are grateful to our local heroes for inspiring the next generation of first responders.
