Southaven Kia will give one deserving full-time teacher from DeSoto, Marshall, or Tate County the keys to a brand-new Kia Seltos in early December.

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and every day counts!
Please take a moment to review important updates to our attendance policy for the 2026–2027 school year, in compliance with recent state legislative actions:
    •    Daily Presence: Students must be present for at least 66% of the school day to be counted present.
    •    Excused Absences: Limited to 5 excused absences per semester.
    •    Doctor's Notes: A medical note is required starting after the 3rd absence.
    •    Unexcused Absence Thresholds:
    ◦    5 unexcused absences per semester will result in a mandatory report to the state.
    ◦    8 unexcused absences will result in a referral to the School Attendance Officer.
